Threading & Closures
Pressha carries internally threaded, externally threaded, and threadless options. The closure listed on each product applies to that piece; not every style is offered with every closure.
Internally Threaded — The screw threads are on the removable end’s pin and fit into the inside of the hollow post. The outside of the post is smooth.
Externally Threaded — The screw threads are on the outside of the post and screw into the removable end. Ask your piercer for help with jewelry changes if you are unsure.
Threadless / Push-Pin — The decorative end has a thin pin that fits into a hollow post. It uses tension rather than screw threads to hold the pieces together.
How Straight-Post Threadless Jewelry Works
This illustration is for straight-post threadless jewelry only, not curved navel bars. The pin stays attached to the decorative top. If it is already bent, check the fit before making further adjustments. Do not force or repeatedly bend the pin, and keep the hollow post straight. Follow the instructions for your specific jewelry and ask a professional piercer if unsure.

Materials & Finishes
Implant-Grade Titanium — Pressha offers ASTM F-136 implant-grade titanium styles. Check each product’s description for its specific material and finish.
316L Surgical Steel — A different material from implant-grade titanium. Surgical steel contains nickel and may not suit people with nickel sensitivity. Ask your piercer about material suitability for your piercing.
PVD & Plated Finishes — Finishes vary by design. Check the product description for coating or plating details, including the materials used in decorative ends. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning.
Stones & Decorative Ends — Stone types and setting materials vary by piece. Refer to the individual product details rather than assuming every component uses the same metal.
